Backpacks Grade appropriate backpacks including school supplies are provided to children in need through a Catholic Charities referral.  With the help of Ladies of Charity, area children are able to start school with the tools to succeed.

Reading Enrichment Ladies of Charity read to young children in small groups at community or day care centers where they encourage discussion, foster language skills, and provide individual attention to the children in the groups.

First Communion Eligible children are referred to Ladies of Charity for assistance in obtaining appropriate clothing by receiving a voucher to a local store as well as a rosary, scapular, and veil.

Christmas Program for Children Ladies of Charity make Christmas a happier time for Catholic Charities clients by providing gifts for children and teenagers each year.  Each child receives an age appropriate gift, books, and a warm hat and gloves and each family receives a holiday ornament for their Christmas tree.

Christmas Program for Homebound Individuals Homebound individuals receive a gift bag which gives them some joy during the holiday season.

Fresh Start New and gently-used household goods and small appliances are packaged to be given to people who are starting over.  These people have very few household goods and have dealt with fire, abuse, chronic illness, or other crisis.

Layettes Ladies of Charity provides new baby clothes and other necessary newborn items to families in need around Western New York.

Lots of Clothes Thrift Store The Lots of Clothes Thrift Store is stocked with donated items including clothing, jewelry, books, shoes, toys, and decorative items.  The public can find affordable priced items and the proceeds fund Ladies of Charity Ministries.  Clothing referrals from Catholic Charities offices allow clients to receive items from our store at no cost.
